Come explore Autodesk Geospatial at CalGIS!

Data is king. For 25 years Autodesk’s AutoCAD design software has played a significant role in creating a majority of the spatial data used in GIS today. Traditional GIS software would attach tabular data and allow users to do analysis and distribution of the spatial and non-spatial data. The step of replicating the design data in the GIS environment has always been a time consuming, error prone and unwelcome task.

Autodesk’s Geospatial solutions integrate the process of Design-Manage-Publish. Begin by adding native access to spatial and non-spatial data stores, coordinate systems, and a full suite of topology, analysis and thematic mapping tools to AutoCAD. Store spatial data in an Oracle, SQL Server and ArcSDE environments. Deliver data using the web with free and Open Source technologies from Autodesk..
